The True Video System from JVC is a completely integrated MPEG-1 Video Authoring
System. This turnkey solution integrates both hardware and software components
to include a Pentium-based Intel Processor, SCSI hard disk(s), 2x4 (2X Write/4X
Read) or 4x4 (4X Write/4X Read) CD-R drive, JVC Personal RomMaker premastering
software, Macromedia Director or Authorware software, and MPEG-1 encoding
and playback technology. Two system configurations are available. The
BC-P100-2X4
model is a 100 Mhz based system geared for Corporate Presentation/Publishing
efforts. The BC-P133-PRO4X is a 133Mhz system designed for Computer Based
Training (CBT) and professional MPEG Video development.
Newer systems which support Half-D1 and Full-D1 MPEG-2 Encoding and Decoding
will also be offered shortly.
